Where is your God?
Looking for solace,
I walk into grandeur to behold,
into magically glorifying faces,
seeking Godly tales foretold.
Amazed by decorated stones,
sheen cloth, the finery, the fragrance,
I see people crawling, walking, rolling,
taking their leaps of faith in silence.
I join the pious crowd,
I walk, bow, fold hands,
"Is this the way?" ask my voices loud,
I am glared and judged by other minds.
I convince my dubious voice,
to trust the self proclaimed uncouths,
that tranquility comes with a price,
before I realized its all a lie.
The more I bowed,
the more scared bowed with me.
I caught the fear in the faith,
the grandeur poked me.
But, God is strange, knowingly unknown.
And, stranger is his way.
With rolling wheels of life, I was shown,
It's all about the little things, every single day.
The smell of fresh book is fascinating,
as is the Sun in the hills surrounding.
A leaf falling, the wave rising,
salty shores and flowers blowing.
The face of arrogance in pain,
empty eyes and dried tears,
move me with feeling unexpressed, inexperienced.
"Where is your God?" asked my voices again.
"We all share Him" said my soul.
