Break which breaks you

It so happens in our lives we are faced with everyday challenges, smaller and bigger alike. I happen to notice few things when we are disturbed. Our health starts deteriorating, not to mention our sleep being the first victim, we start pondering over the problem for long imagining the worst possible outcomes. Every morning, waking up to that feeling is not very refreshing.
We all have been there. We all have experienced what we think is the worst thing happen to anyone. And, when we allow it to get on our nerves, the challenge starts breaking us from inside. We start to question our abilities, if this is even possible for us to do. Sadness and dejection crawl into our skin. People will even call us melodramatic. But,  you  know what? It’s okay. It’s completely fine if you want to  sit with Netflix at night, popping M&M’s with no human around. What is not okay is holding onto that feeling for too many days. When we are sad, we can climb up the mountain of self pity and look over the ocean of tears but making a home up there is not how any of us can survive. Climbing up there, looking over the waters, seeing the sunset and sinking in the feeling of what you went through is a total thumbs up. But, next  day, when the Sun rises, come down and get to work on the solution.

Whatever that’s bothering you now, remember it’s there for you to find a solution. To do that, try to break down the problem into points of what’s happening, what can be the alternative or if no alternates, then, what can be done. This provides us the clarity of thought.

Do let me know if anything I can help you with for jolting out the points.

Lots of love,
Prerana
