#NeglectedRelations

Parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, friends, partners - every one of them is so important to us in our lives. Every relation has its own place, especially in an Indian family where every one of it comes with it's own unique name. Among all this, we have another bond that is not-so-popular. Few may never have experienced it. It's the affiliation we form in college with people who aren't our classmates, rather, they are either senior or joined college after us. I am the few lucky ones who have had great people in my graduation college.

Remember those days in college when we would go to our seniors for books? or ask them for a subject-choice? Juniors came to us for a friendly advice or sharing a gossip or two in college corridors? I am very much blessed to have two such beautiful girls in life. Special shout out to Priyanka and Preeya. 2019 has been really special. Priyanka, my senior, got married in February and Preeya, my baby, tied knot just last week. I cried at both the weddings.

Most of us were close to at least one person of another batch. As years ticked by, we have lost touch. Today, lets drop them a 'Hi', ask about their health and remember them. It’ll bring a smile on their face for sure.

To college crowd,
Prerana
