  On the occasion of Mother’s Day, it’s heartening to see posts on social media of people showering love over their mothers. Mothers, I tell you! They say you never fully realise what it takes to be a mom until you become one. They are the most caring and selfless people who teach us how to love unconditionally. The mere need of a mother to protect her children, no matter what, is one of the most fierce feelings of nature. We see it all around us, in every living being. With every child, a mother is born too.
  Today I would also like to thank our second mother; Mother Nature. Mankind has turned a blind eye to his own nurturer. Nature is crying out for our help. Our empathy must be extended to protect all these creatures who want to protect their own.
  Let’s celebrate this Morher’s day thanking our Mothers, one who brought us into this world and made us what we are today and Mother Nature who has gladly heeded our needs all this time. It’s high time we take good care of both of them.  Pick up your phone right now and call your mom or aunt or mother-in-law. Go out and plant a tree or water the dried ones. They need us. Our world needs them.
