ಶಿವ (Shiva)

He is fierce.

He is passionate. 

He is impulsive.

He is a yogi. 

He is a dancer, a lover, an infinite being. 

A creator, a destroyer. 

A man, a woman ; an Ardhanareshwara.

An indomitable spirit who knows only his own way of justice. His ways reverberate with utter superiority making universal rules meek. Bound by no authority, answerable to none, he is the instance of being true to one's existence. 

He is Shiva. And, he represents the truth of mortality and beyond to me.

A performer embodies all these qualities every single time he/she performs. A privilege in itself.

A friend of mine sent me a write-up about his solo trip today. The best part about the article was his experience visiting a  Shiva temple. How he felt a natural pull to the holy place where the word spirituality redefined itself for him. It was a magical moment for my friend. That’s how this post came to me. Even I am a true admirer of this fascinating God. He amazes me in ways more than one.
